Ergonomic design
Your face rests in a soft opening, with a channel for your nose. You lean straight in, without turning your head to one side.
Fully inflated, the top slopes at about 45°, so you rest forward at an easy angle instead of folding in half over the tray.
Flocked PVC with a soft, velvety finish. Welded seams. One wide valve. 55 × 35 × 30 cm when it's full of air.
Hug it. Your forearms slide into an opening on each side, so your hands aren't left dangling.
The pillow is hollow and open at both sides, with a heart-shaped vent at the front.
Fill it fully for a taller rest, or let some air out for a lower, softer one.
Inside
Cutaway and close-up are illustrations, not to scale.
Open in the middle. Your arms slide in from the sides, and air can move around your face.
Welded walls of air hold the shape. No foam, no filling, just air.
The top slopes at about 45° for your face, the wide base sits steady on your lap or tray, and the sides leave room for your arms.
Short fibres flocked onto an airtight PVC skin. Soft where your face rests, and it keeps the air in.
The part that actually holds you up.

Questions
Usually, yes, once you're in the air. Whether you can use it on a particular flight is up to the airline and its crew, so if you're unsure, check with your airline before you fly. Like anything on your tray table, it needs to be stowed for take-off and landing, and whenever the crew asks.
It stands on your lap or the tray table and is about 55 cm tall when fully inflated. If you're shorter, or the space is tight, let some air out for a lower, softer rest.
A little. People might glance over for a second. You've got the whole flight.
Open the wide valve on the back and inflate it by mouth, no pump needed. To pack it away, open the valve, press the air out and fold it flat.
New PVC can have a faint smell. Inflate it at home and leave it somewhere airy for a few hours before your first trip.
Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it dry before you pack it away.
